MALANI FOREST REST HOUSE

This wonderful Malani Forest Rest House is located 14 km northwest of Bijrani. Strategically located on the edge of the core zone of the tiger reserve, Malani has a lot to offer from the most picturesque surroundings and solitude. The game drive to Malani is quite a rewarding experience amidst nature as it's an easy opportunity to watch different mammals and birdlife in their natural habitats.

Accommodation in Malani Forest Rest House

There are two forest rest houses under the Bijrani zone, one of which is the guest house named Malani Forest Rest House. Its distance is 16 km from Bijrani Gate. Under this forest rest house, two rooms have been made for night rest. This does not have any dormitory facilities but extra beds are available in the room and the rooms are very clean. Rooms at Malani are basic with No TV and AC. The limited power supply is there in the rooms with the help of solar panels / Invertors. Both the rooms at Malani Forest Rest House have attached spacious washrooms with running water facilities with a western toilet and washbasin.

A very good mountain view can be seen from Malani Forest Rest House because it is situated in a slightly hilly area. The mountain view is the best advantage of Malani Forest Rest House. If you want a good dense forest along with a mountain view then Malani Forest Rest House is the best option for you. There are no canteen facilities in Malani Raw food has to be brought from outside and food can be prepared by asking a cook.

Fooding Facility in Malani Forest Rest House

In this zone, Malani Forest Rest House’s premises do not have any restaurant available but there you will get a cook with all the utensils, stove, and gas available in the kitchen. You have to provide raw materials to the cook and he will prepare the meals whatever you ask for.

Note:- You will only get vegetarian food inside the National Park because Non-Veg food is not allowed inside the Park.

You can go for the Malani Forest area via Amdanda gate which is located 2 km from Ramnagar, Uttrakhand. The entry timing to Bijrani Zone from Amdanda gate starts at 10:00 AM and stops at 4:00 PM.
