Mohaan Tourism Zone is one of the most popular & preferred zones amongst tourists for day visits. The entry gate to the Mohaan safari zone is known as Mohaan Gate.
If anyone is interested in seeing tigers or wildlife, then Jim Corbett National Park can be a perfect option for them because it is home to many tigers and has many types of wildlife. Due to the increasing number of tourists here daily, the government has built many different gates for safari. This new zone opened this year in June 2024, whose name is Mohan Gate. This gate is 30 km away from Ramnagar. The feedback received from the tourists is very good because the chances of seeing tigers are higher than at other gates. The area around Mohan Gate is densely forested and the human population is negligible, hence wildlife is more visible.
Currently, 20 jeeps are allowed for safari per day, 10 in the morning slot and 10 in the evening slot. This number of jeeps may increase in the future. There are two times for the jeep safari Morning: 05:30 am to 09:00 am and evening time is 03:00 pm to 06:30 pm.
If you want to do a safari in this zone then it is mandatory for you to do advance online booking because as we said, only 20 jeeps are allowed per day. Therefore the chances of the permit being sold out are very high.

Number of shifts in a day : two shifts (one shift morning, one shift evening)
Note : Maximum 6 persons are allowed in a Gypsy.
Child below 5 years will be complimentary.
